1. Mill diameter refers to the internal diameter of the mill shell. The effective grinding length is determined by the sizes of the end liners and the grate.
2. The feed particle size should not be greater than 300 mm.
3. The maximum ball loading capacity of the SAG mill is 15% of the mill’s effective volume.
4. The operating speed is typically 75% of the mill’s critical speed. The variable frequency drive (VFD) allows speed adjustment within a range of 5% to 15% of the rated speed.
5. The feed capacity is suitable for an SABC flowsheet, with a JK drop-weight index (A × b) ranging from 40 to 56.

3. The operating speed is usually 75% of the mill’s critical speed.
4. The feed capacity is suitable for an SABC process, with a Bond Work Index (BWi) in the range of 9–15 kWh/t.
